BedsnBoards 24-Month Frame Warranty

1. Warranty Overview

At Beds & Boards, we believe peace of mind is part of a great night’s sleep. That’s why every bed frame we sell is protected by a clear and straightforward 24-month warranty, covering manufacturing faults in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase.

2. Warranty Period & Eligibility

Warranty duration: 24 months (730 days) from the purchase date
Location validity: Applies only within the country of original purchase
Eligible Owner: Valid for the original retail purchaser only and is not transferable

3. What’s Covered Under This Warranty

Our warranty applies to faults caused by manufacturing issues during normal domestic use, including:

• Structural elements: side rails, headboards, footboards, slats, and centre supports
• Fixings & hardware: bolts, brackets, and centre legs supplied with the frame
• Factory-applied finishes: paint, stain, or coating that bubbles, flakes, or peels due to a production defect
• Moving mechanisms (where applicable): hinges or gas-lift systems that fail under standard residential use

Labour & parts policy:

• Months 1–12: Replacement parts supplied and reasonable labour costs covered
• Months 13–24: Replacement parts supplied free of charge; labour or call-out costs (if required) are payable by the customer and quoted in advance

4. What the Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not apply to:

• Everyday wear and tear, including minor marks, scratches, or fabric compression
• Damage caused by:
• incorrect or incomplete assembly
• over-tightening of bolts
• use of an unsuitable mattress size or weight
• commercial, rental, or hospitality use
• moisture, damp conditions, mould, or water exposure
• accidental damage, misuse, or improper transportation
• Mattresses, bedding, electrical items, or accessories unless clearly stated on the product page
• Repairs or alterations carried out without prior approval from BedsnBoards

This warranty operates alongside and does not limit your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

5. Warranty Conditions

To keep your warranty valid, the following conditions must be met:

• Proof of purchase must be provided (order confirmation or receipt)
• The bed frame must be assembled and used in accordance with the supplied instructions
• The product must be used indoors in a dry, well-ventilated environment
• All bolts and fixings should be checked and tightened after the first 30 days and at regular six-month intervals thereafter

6. How to Make a Warranty Claim

Step 1: Gather evidence

• Clear photos showing the issue (both close-ups and wider views)

Step 2: Contact our support team
Email us with the following details:

• Order number or proof of purchase
• Description of the issue and when it started
• Photographs (maximum 10 MB per email)

Step 3: Assessment

• We aim to respond within 2 working days
• Additional photos or a video call inspection may be requested

Step 4: Resolution
Depending on the issue, we may offer:

• Replacement parts sent by courier
• A repair solution
• A full frame replacement if repair is not practical

Most approved claims are resolved within 14 days.

7. Delivery & Returns for Warranty Claims

• Replacement parts are dispatched via tracked delivery at no cost
• If a faulty part needs to be returned, we’ll provide a prepaid return method
• In the case of a full replacement, the frame must be dismantled and safely packaged by the customer unless agreed otherwise

8. Spare Parts After Warranty

We aim to keep replacement components available for a minimum of five years after a model is discontinued. Once the warranty period ends, parts can still be purchased at cost plus delivery.
